In summation, it appears that your misery stemmed from dealing with
an oxymoron.  Sales *engineer*, indeed.
 
It is incidents like this that have brought much dishonor upon the
title of "engineer."  Now, they're a dime a dozen, and worth just
about that much.
 
I except the likes of Wirt Atmar from this blanket indictment.  If we
only had more of them...
