This sounds similar to problems we've seen which occur when you've run into
a resource limit. What do you have configured as the Maximum Number of
Connections in the NETXPORT.GPROT.TCP screen in NMMGR? If you've left it at
the default of 128 you could easily be running out of slots. You can savely
double that figure, and it might help.
