I took a pre-existing printer definition that was no longer in use, and changed the IP to the new device. See below - the Duplex env file is left over from previous usage - only printed one page in my test. No other changes at all, ran our invoice print that uses several small fonts and some bold text, and it was fine.
To check it I ran the same print to a 2605 , and where we do some text in 6 or 8 point , as in
"Summary :" followed by data , its ok on the 2035, but on the 2605 (which only gives Courier fixed pitch) the colon is in amongst the following data. The Courier bold is also lighter that the real bolds - I think its a font that is heavier than courier to start with.

This sounds like something we might be interested in - what did you have to do on MPE to use this? How is the port configured?
We're still running 3 Dataproducts LB615's (band printers) on our HP3000 A400 but would like to have a laser printer to use for printing single sheets on plain paper.
