Jeff,
I am sure you know by now that the government always, always gets it's share first.
I was speaking with an Accountant yesterday, and he was discussing some of his current problems. One is dealing with people who renegotiate their mortgages. One customer renegotiated his Mortgage and received a $25,000 reduction of principle.
The customer was thrilled that the back 'forgave' the 25k, but wasn't so happy to find out, he now owes taxes on the $25,000 he never had.

To all;
Anyone else get a notice of Interex's Bankruptcy Settlement with a date of
March 18th in the Northern District Court of California?
Interesting to look at those getting about 10% of their money back....
Notice the Tax Collector got paid in full.
I wonder what the Hungarian News Agency was doing with interex?
See the bath HP took for killing the event? $200,000 plus.
Thanks,
Jeff
