We apparently have the Raven mail problem fixed as of Monday morning,
and at least from our observations here things look normal again. If
you believe you are still having problems with list mail please let me
know.

For anyone interested in the cause, read on, else delete.

In one word: Exchange :-)

The new firewall examines SMTP transactions and allows only a strict
subset of RFC-821 (the mandatory HELO/MAIL/RCPT/DATA/QUIT verbs). Some
configurations of Exchange will not fall back to this subset as the RFC
dictates (RFC-1869 for example). Kaboom.

We've disabled SMTP validation for now until I can digest the ENTIRE
CHAPTER of the firewall configuration manual on how to keep Exchange
happy.

Jeff
