> Is there such a thing as a TEMP file in POSIX/UNIX?
A POSIX named file can be TEMP on MPE. E.g.
:build /etc/foo;temp
:listfile /etc/f@,2;temp
TEMPORARY FILES FOR JEFF.VANCE
PATH= /etc/
CODE ------------LOGICAL RECORD----------- ----SPACE---- FILENAME
SIZE TYP EOF LIMIT R/B SECTORS #X MX
128W FB 0 1023 1 0 0 * foo
But, as has already been posted, on UNIX systems there is no
TEMP domain where the file automatically goes away after you
logoff.
