If you go to the Reflections directory and rename the "logo.bmp" files you
can eliminate the download and wait time associated with the logo(s)
appearing and pausing (Reflections, Reflections FTP ...). Simply put an "x"
in front of all of the logo.bmp file names (depending on your version the
names might be R1LOGO.bmp, RFTPLOGO.bmp change them to xR1LOGO.bmp,
xRFTPLOGO.bmp).
The time from launching till you get the MPE prompt is significantly faster.

Especially if you are expecting a telnet connection.
Newer Reflection for HP default to "Best Network", which really means try
NS/VT, and if that doesn't work try telnet. If you don't have NS/VT
running, or there are firewall issues that are blocking the NS/VT ports
(especially firewall DROP rules rather than REJECT) you will have to wait
until Reflection things the NS/VT attempt has "timed out".
If you are waiting all that time for an NS/VT session to start with,
nevermind, I dunno :-)
