Hello,

We have a mix of Intel Netport and HP JetDirect interfaces for our network
printers. Direct printing to the HP JetDirect interfaces works fine but not
with our Netport boxes. I knew this would be the case as HP has documented
that only the JetDirect interface is supported.  I'm curious if anybody has
been able to print to any other interface besides JetDirect as I'm told that
the new firmware for the Intel boxes make them more JetDirect compatible ...
at least as far as supporting SNMP.

Since we have a fair number of Intel boxes on campus, I need to find
available solutions for printing to these boxes, hopefully, directly via
TCP/IP rather than using a print queue on a Unix/NT/Novell server.  Does
anybody have any experiences with products that could help us out ?
