Just got this as part of the HP e3000 Advisor newsletter (from our good
friend George Stachnick). I haven't seen this link posted yet, so figured I
should share it. (Forgive me if this is, in fact, a duplication.)

> Prather's perspective

I doubt much of this was said in the webcast, and it contains info that
wasn't in the customer letter already posted. The tone is definitely
personal. Here's one snippet:

> From a business perspective, this decision was not frivolous in any
> way. Throughout its history, the HP e3000 has enjoyed strong
> community feeling - among customers as well as our ISVs. While HP

IMO, this helps make the argument for openMPE/openIMAGE, since being
"strategic to a wide enough customer base" becomes much easier with open
source.

(My $.02 -- insert std disclaimers.)
