Barry,
  Express releases, as I understand it, consist of a PowerPatch tape and an
option Subsys tape in the case where subsys products have been modified.  The
last express to have a subsys tape was express 3 and so the express 7 subsys
is the same as the express 3 subsys while the powerpatch tape is different.
Of course I may well be confused in all this, too :-).
