I need to find an ftp client that supports TLS. I am attempting to connect
to an ftp service that is supposed to use TLS ftp, which I am simply not
familiar with. I have started searching the RFCs and Internet-Drafts (2228,
2577, draft-murray-auth-ftp-ssl-04.txt), but thought that someone on the
list might already be familiar with this. Using the MS ftp client under NT
(which I know does not support TLS), I can specify an AUTH string, at which
point, I think my client is out of its league. Our service, which happens to
be AT&T Global Network, is sending me the certificate that they say I will
need, once I have a client that knows what to do with it. AT&T has been able
to recommend exactly one client, for $500. I would like to know if I have
any other options.
