We don't buy from third party vendors because of the educational discounts
already mentioned.

My experience with third party vendors is poor.  Be aware that they make
money when they SELL you something they HAVE.  Also they make money when
they BUY something they can SELL.  I have had one vendor break a signed
contract to purchase several items, and fail to pick up equipment as
promised.
