Thanks to all who responded to my HP 2000 question. Gee, I didn't think
that there were that many HP 2000 users/operators/system managers out there!
I've gotten a number of questions as to why on earth I'd want to convert an
HP 2000 BASIC program to run on the HP 3000. Actually, I'm (slowly)
converting a number of HP 2000 games for my children in my spare time. The
program in question is actually a set of several programs which together
form a multi-user space battle game in which users sitting at different
terminals battle against each other (I have three children, so multi-player
games avoid someone being left out). In order to survive for any period of
time, good (fast, accurate) typing skills are very important -- a good
opportunity for them to practice the typing skills that they are building.
Again, thanks for the many responses, many trips down memory lane, etc. I
appreciated them all.
John
