HP Specific:
============
HP has a lot of good information at
http://www.hp.com/gsy/year2000/index.html.
This page relates to both HP 9000 and HP 3000 platforms.
Customers can order the "Cure2000 for the HP 3000" TCU Videotape off the
Web. The order form is at
http://www.hp.com/ibpprogs/tape/main.html#order
Select the name "Cure2000 for the HP 3000" from the "Selection" menu.
There's no charge. Here's a short description:
Cure2000 for the HP 3000
This video covers the steps that HP 3000 customers can
use to avoid the problems associated with the year 2000. It
also covers the changes that are being made to MPE/iX
to bring it into full year 2000 compliance, as well as tools for
analyzing and updating HP 3000 applications. Guests include
representatives from Adager, Cognos, Diamond
Optimum Systems, and Practical Software Solutions. (June 1997)
There's also a newsgroup called comp.software.year-2000. Like most
usenet newsgroups, there tends to be more heat here than light, but
a few nuggets of wisdom occaisonally peek through.
Yahoo has gotten into the act.
http://www.yahoo.com/Computers_and_Internet/Year_2000_Problem/
will point you to a long list of indices, software, books, conferences
and so forth.
http://www.mitre.org/research/y2k/docs/Y2K_LINKS.html contains
a lot of links to government sites related to the subject.
There are enough pointers there to keep you busy for quite a while.
