What you need to do here is take the "guts" of your ftp, everthing that
comes *after* "run ftp.arpa.sys" up to and *including* the "quit" command,
and put it in a separate file. Say you put them in a file called FTPCMDS.
Then in your command file you would do:

:ftp <ftpcmds

or

:run ftp.arpa.sys;stdin=ftpcmds
