It varies on the brand of DDS tapes and also
varies on who they subcontracted to make the labels.

James,
I have noticed that the latest batch of DDS tapes, both product C1517A for
DDS-3 and
and C5706A for DDS-1, all have the same design flaw: The label is bigger
than the recessed area on the cassette and creates a raised lip on one of
the long sides. Could this be part of that problem?
