That is the number of devs at the same time.  It has no bearing on the 
largest LDEV number.

Which some sites skip ranges of numbers and use them in blocks for 
identification.

At one place I worked printer LDEVs starting 3000 or higher where in 
China for example.

For example LDEV 4679 I used in Fantasia for a specific form and in 
AventX to deliver to a specific email.

Which freeware version BTW, Stromasys Charon before they took it away?
