Let me just say that from my point of view, Whisper Tech's Programmer Studio is a fabulous product [from someone who thought SPF/Edit was good!].

It has improved my productivity four fold.

I highly recommend it as an integrated environment for COBOL, C, TRANSACT, script files, etc.

I have used it to integrate some COBOL / JAVA / CGI into some Apache Server web pages.

It has some very nice features, not the least of which is to be able to use it to use it on PCs and NT.

That said, I cannot speak concerning POWERHOUSE, several users working on one project, or source code tracking.

Hallo Listers

We have been looking lately into WHISPER Tech.'s Programmer Studio

I would appreciate any comments from those which have already looked into
this program, or who have real experience with it.

We are using POWERHOUSE as a development env. (Whisper supports this, but
only up to 7.03)

Other questions that come to my mind are:
1) supporting several users working on one project
2) source code tracking

THANKX for any hint
Friedrich
