Hello there !

In our company we have a TurboImage database (not Image/SQL) in MPE/iX 6.0.
We would need to mirror some small datasets to an oracle or whatever SQL
database.

It seems there are only some few tools out there for real time mirroring,
like Bridgeware, Backchat and similar stuff which are much too expensive for
us.

Did anybody try to write a small program that logs changes/modifications of
TurboImage-contents to a "human"-readable format which can be easily
converted by (i.e. a perl script) to sql commands that can be
transferred sent to a linux/unix machine (i.e. in a file by ftp every 5
minutes) ?

I can't image that we are the first ones thinking about such a small script.
Are there any tools available that could help us ?

Thanx very much + best regards,
Markus
