I'm already here - and NOW I find out what people meant by not liking
America West Airlines... up until today, they were great.

I got to Phoenix, the plane to San Jose was two hours late.  OK - I can deal
with an ATC delay (having had this done to me as a private pilot) - but when
we were all loaded on board - to have the gent in the left seat come on the
intercom, and let us all know that there was no Captain (they called one in
from home) - that was a bit much.  (Sort of sounds like the night after
placing a new system into production - the obligatory late-night phone call
;-)

(I was ready to volunteer though :)  hehehe
