Like many, we are about to dive into migrating our data off of our
3000. We've never needed more than the original 10Mb LAN card in daily
operations but have found that it will be a substantial limitation when
we start converting our data. With 3000 hardware prices where they are,
we are considering purchasing a 100Mb HP-PB card just for this
migration process. Our only concern is that of licensing. I know that
at one time there was a separate licensing fee for the 100Mb driver.
Does anyone know if this has changed with recent releases of MPE? We
are still on 6.5 as it stands but can certainly consider upgrading if
it gains us options. I'd be interested in any input that anyone may
have about our situation. Thanks in advance!
