as much as I know (am not perfect at least not 100%) there was
automatically given and granted the citizenship.
However that wasn't the problem.
The problem was that they were 100% eligible for retirement, health and un-
employment.
They didn't pay 1 cent into any of this but all of a sudden they are
eligible.
As much as I recall none of the South or Middle Americans can come and
collect a retirement that they never paid for. In Germany, it was possible.
If somebody crosses the border at night and says that he was a doctor or
engineer, would ge get the unemployment and retirement values?
I had co-workers that came from Romania, there parents got full retirement,
they got language classes for all and job-training. They got low-interest
loans and within being 3-5yrs in Germany they were building 2-family houses
worth half-million.
Don't recall that ever happening in California.
BTW, Arnold does not support GWB on every issue but there is a big support
as they are in the same party and Arnold worked/helped Bush-senior.
