I would talk directly with www.allegro.com to get the straight
scoop on Splash!, but here some things I have heard that might
be of help to you:

a. Little or no changes when going from mpe to hp-ux.

b. Investigate optional output from Splash! which might give
   you more portability vis-a-vis pa-risc vis ia-64.
