Hello,

Okay, I'd swear this is easy.  I have a CI variable that is a numeric string (like "2000") and I would like to set another CI variable to be a numeric string that is one less ("1999").  How can I perform math on the first variable?  Is there a simple way (that I'm just not remembering) to convert a string variable to a number, then back again?
