Hey Gang,

I know there are various vendors of Linux besides RedHat, could someone
please provide me with some of them?

I installed RedHat Linux 5.1, well at lease tried to install, on a pentium
pc
some
months ago. I got to the part where to configure the cd-rom and
unfortunately
there
were no drivers available for this specific cd so I was stuck.

I had two choices, buy comparable cd or get a different Linux vendor that
would
support my current cd-rom. Well, since its cheaper to buy Linux, avg. price
is
20 bucks - versus cd-rom were avg. price is 60-80 bucks..... Besides, it
doesn't
make sense to spend money on something that works just fine on other
operating
systems.

Thanks in Advance
