   You might want to check with VESoft/HP before examining your logfiles
with VEAudit.  I did this once, and ran into a problem.  I don't
remember the specifics now and can't find my notes, but it screwed-up my
system logging.  I had to have HPRC dial in and do some stuff with debug
to avoid a reboot.

   Thanks to all who resonded to my question! I really just forgot all
   about the 'file closes' logging...to much other stuff going on to
   remember the simple things. Anyway, we have VeAudit and will be using
   that to query against our log files.
