Chuck,
Attached is the sendmail command file used at Pinnacle/Windsong during Mid
2005 to Late 2008. The main purpose of this command file was to send
pdf/txt/csv files (as attachments) to external users.
The command file assumes that there is an account named SYSTEMS containing a
file named MSGBODY.PUB (contains the default text to be loaded into the
email body). You will need to change this. You'll also need to change the
'From:' text (Search for the string 'PIN2000'. The if/elseif/else conditions
and the echo's are the bits to modify).
Note: Command files at Pinnacle/Windsong used a record length of 125 bytes.
Using a shorter record length could result in wrap-around.
There is lots of help text and comments in the code. Feel free to contact me
if you have any questions.
regards,
Robert W.Mills
