Still banging my head against the wall trying to solve this problem.
Here's what I know so far.
If I don't specify a nameserver in the RESLCNF.NET.SYS file on the 3000.
Everybody is happy. I can get to the 3000 from itself via the smbclient
-L exlax command. Windows 95 clients work fine. NT 4.0 clients work
fine.
If I specify a local nameserver in the RESLCNF.NET.SYS file on the 3000.
Things are sadly lacking :( The use of smbclient -L exlax returns the
server is being unfriendly. Win95 clients report the network is busy. NT
4.0 clients still work fine. Does anyone have any further wisdom. I
can't believe the only way I can get this to work is to put up BIND on
the 3000.
