HP3000 Folks,

I was searching dejanews in the comp.sys.hp.mpe newsgroup and found a
posting
regarding the following;

************************************************************************************************

We are getting the following error during a DBPUT to a detail data =

set:

TURBOIMAGE RESULT; RETURN STATUS =3D 95
IMAGE CALL INFORMATION NOT AVAILABLE
Bad search value in path 6, set 20.
HEX DUMP OF STATUS ARRAY FOLLOWS:
005f 0014 0000 9840 0000 0006 4163 c386 0000 0000

This output is from the call to DBEXPLAIN that the program does when =

it detects an error condition. Set 20 is the detail data set we are =

trying to add a record to, and path 6 is a path to an automatic master.
The search value in the detail data set looks okay (via COBOL display) =

and exists in the automatic master already.

I can't find error 95 in the latest (August 97) Image manual.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

************************************************************************************************

We are getting the same kind of IMAGE result that looks like this; (We
do some enhancing to DBEXPLAIN)

A CIS software failure has occurred. If you were in "ADD" or
"UPDATE" mode,
it is possible that you have lost data. Please double-check your last
actions.

************************************************************************************************

Could anyone explain this kind of failure.
I would appreciate any help anyone could provide.
