I've gotten five messages similar to this in just the last half hour:

I wrote this to another similar requestor of information:

There have been an enormous number of messages on the list regarding the idea
of buying a full-page ad in the WSJ directed primarily to Carly Fiorina and
her upper management regarding their purposeful neglect of the HP3000, even
to the point of purposefully not mentioning it.

The cost of the ad will be $154,000, with that money being raised from the
user community itself, with a $1000 limit. The idea is to have the ad ready
for HP World. The text of the ad is now under current debate.

While I believe the above summary is accurate, it can't possibly reflect the
entire story. Rather than have me recapitulate the whole story, let me direct
you to Bruce Toback's webbot, at:

     http://www.optc.com/Webbot/

You should be able to pick up the threads (and there are several) from there
quite easily by their various titles (some which have OT labels).
