While I don't know all the details of this, I do no that the Feds
subsidized
the Internet for a long time and apparently still do to some
extent.  I am
against government subsidies in 99% of the cases.  If it is a
matter of
users paying their share I am for it.  if it another bondoggle
then I am
against it.
