One could also use 'consolan' from within 'sysdiag' to reset the internal
modem using the following:
     DUI >consolan pdev=xxxx section=2(23)
where 'xxxx' is the path id for the console. (in my machine that would be
'10/4/0')

Sysdiag should be run from the system console (ldev 20) and you should
'reset' the remote port.

One can also issue "help consolan sections" from within sysdiag to get more
information on consolan's
functions.

Does anyone know if the internal modems are Hayes command compatible????
If
so, then somehow sending out a Hayes reset command (AT Z????) to the device
LDEV might do this. In any case it would be usefull to know if internal
modems follow the Hayes command language and how to send commands to them.
