I don't know how to get around the "Missing DBE File" problem, however:
Dropping the DBE files will also drop the Tables, Indices, etc. If you hav=
e=20
the DDL to recreate the Tables you need, you might start all over with a ne=
w=20
(smaller) database. Some maintenance is required in any case if your=20
development environment, specifically the ACCOUNT and USER names, don't=20
match your source environment.
Since you have a STORE, another alternative might be to drop the DBE files=20
in your source environment, either the original or a copy in a different=20
GROUP/ACCOUNT, copy the modified DBE files to your development environment,=
=20
and RESTORE (if necessary) to your source environment. You still need the=20
DDL to recreate the Tables...
