[log in to unmask][log in to unmask], 30 Nov 1998 21:02:17 -0800368_US-ASCII I finally got the console to come up using the freeware emulator. I do get
an error with the lanic card, but I'm hoping that it's just a no-media
type of error. I did, however, connect a transceiver with a loop-back
cable and got the same error. I see the led's flash on the transceiver for
an instant, but nothing after that - totally dead. [...]42_30Nov199821:02:[log in to unmask]

Now, I am an IBM person trying to work on an HP as a project lead, so I
dont have much of an idea, so this might sound like a dumb question but
here goes.

One of my programmers approached me and told me it is possible to be able
to compile a COBOL program within QEDIT, allowing the correction of compile
errors quickly. He mentioned something about COBERR and how it is not
setup correctly at our site.

Would anyone know anymore about this? Can someone fill me in on what we
need to do in order to allow this to happen?

Thanks.
