I figure that someone here probably knows, has been there, done that,
already spilled coffee on the T-shirt. Of course, off list replies are
probably best.

A peer on another team has been working to get their NetWare 3.12 server Y2K
compliant, with minimal effort. It has an earlier version of Oracle 7, so
just going to the latest and greatest is too resource intensive, too
disruptive of normal business, and so on. They are patching NW 3.12, but are
not sure if Novell's TCP 4.01G is Y2K compliant or not, and if not, what
would work as a replacement product. Unfortunately, we are in a building
move, which cost most of us our web access (the reasons are complicated but
apparently very real). I am about to cross the building to do my own web
search from a workstation that is allowed, but my peer has struck out
trying. If someone can answer this off the top of their head, please let me
know. URLs are welcome, since I will have to document this answer.

And if someone had told you that you would have to endure Y2K mania, would
you have chosen a different career path?

The whole is more than the sum of its parts.
