Dear Listers:

Further to my fevered search for, and surprisingly, unrequited answers to the above question, being a cellmate, so-to-speak of one Douglas Becker, has provided the following:

1) Jobs do NOT count in the Session limit. I guess that's the reason that they are called "Sessions", eh? I do recognize that if the Job did I/O to/from an LDEV, then it WOULD count, but in general terms....

2) FTP does NOT count in the Session limit. Of course, if you're logged on as a session, and running FTP, you will be counted but only once.

Just thought I'd share....

FWIW

TIA
