Fellow MPE folk,

For several weeks now, the gateway passing traffic between 3000-L and
comp.sys.hp.mpe has been non-functional.  We are planning to remedy
this impediment to the timely exchange of information between the two
communities by bringing up a gateway on our systems at EDIT.  We hope
that this will allow those who have chosen USENET, either due to lack
of access to the mailing list or by preference, the opportunity to
provide their valuable input to our discussions.  Barring any serious
objections, we plan to open up the gateway tomorrow evening.

Please feel free to contact me with any feedback-- good, bad, or
indifferent.

For those who are interested, the gateway has been implemented on a
Windows NT box using Allaire's Cold Fusion.
