I really appreciate, and want to thank everyone on this list for all your
contributions, and insight. Yes even the negative posts about the abuse of this
list. Because that's what makes this list so informative, and thought provoking. I
especially appreciate the moderators of this list for not bouncing members from
the list who's views don't fit the norm, because that would result in a
narrow-minded source of information. Let me add that it was the Minisoft thread
that brought me to write this. I have made the HP3000 my profession, and my
platform of choice for OLTP. I subscribe to this list, and use it as a information
resource. I receive phones calls, pages, and yes even email from people I don't
even know asking my opinion about HP3000 solutions, as well as other platforms.
Why? because when I am asked about the HP3000 platform, I'll never say "I don't
know". If I don't know, I'll post a question to this list, I always have an
answer. Not just one solution, but multiple solutions. If this list didn't exists
I'd need to spend a large percentage of my time doing research, and reading trade
rages, and we all know how much HP3000 info you'll find there. The only ( and I
emphasize ONLY) reason I have any answers at all is because of this list. I don't
understand why anyone on this list couldn't or wouldn't appreciate what it means
to receive the latest breakthroughs in HP3000/MPE technologies, I mean, why are
you on this list? If weren't for what some call "Abuse", this list wouldn't even
exists!

Much appreciation to all,

Michael Anderson,
Houston, Texas
