To be 'Court Martialed" is equivalent to being 'Tried'.

There are different levels of court Martians, such as a General Court
Martial, Special Court Martial and such. Each level carries a more severe
possible punishment.

Correct me if I am wrong but I thought that the term 'Court Martial'
simply refered to a military trial. Not that the defendant had been
found guilty. That is, it is possible to be cleared of all charges with
no adverse effect on one's career after having been Court Martialed.
