Has anybody had success connecting to HP/ALLBase from PowerBuilder 4.0
using ODBC Drivers, version A.G0.07? This version works with PowerBuilder
3.0, but does not allow access to any tables with PowerBuilder 4.0.

The following warning message is returned when connecting to the database:

"Catalog Tables could not be created and are not available for use."

Connection to the database is made, but the following error message is
return when attempting to open a table:

"Table "______" has no columns, possible invalid format."

The problems occurs when logging in as the database owner, as well as a
user with database owner authorization.

TIA,

John

And I answer:

Johnny, it may be that you need to load the ODBC views again in your DBE.
There have been many changes and this could be your problem. This may serve
your problem.

Kind regards,

Denys. . .
