It is advised to run sqlinstal whenever we move to different version of
Allbase. This will help in accessing recent version of system and catalog
views, and also revalidates the stored section.

we're currently running version g3.04 of allbase (6.0pp2).
we've received a supplemental patch tape that updates
allbase g3.15 (patch id: SQLLX50).  the magic question is --
would i need to run sqlinstl following the application of
the patch?           - d 'please say no...please say no'
