As said earlier, 3042 is "Job does not exist". -17 is the column
number [abs(parm)] where the CI would print a caret above the
error message.  For some reason, the CI prints the caret right
under the user name, ignoring the jobname qualifier.  If the parm
value returned by COMMAND is positive, it is the corresponding
file system error.
