ODBCLink-se to Linux?

Does anyone know what can be done to access ODBCLink-se in PHP on a
Linux box?  I think I need to register the DSN.  For that I need to know
the port number.

When I try to do this without a DSN by putting the server and the
database strings in the DSN field PHP tells me the string is too long.
