Also, you should be able to get new recovery CD's right from HP if the
ones you have are bad.  I have situations on some PC's where a recovery CD
didn't come with the computer for some reason and I was able to contact
the company much later (Compaq in this case) and they sent me the recovery
CD later at no charge.  Wouldn't hurt to check with HP on it.
