I was just through a similar problem this week with a bunch of new Dells in
our lab.What we had to do was upgarde the BIOS from A04 to A06 then chang
the BOIS video memory setting from 1 meg to 8 and in some cases change the
resolution from 24 bit to 16.

Something to try.
