I was 16 and for some reason that I can't recall, I was alone.
I watched this in my home, alone, while consuming an entire
box of Kellogg's Froot Loops. I was utterly spellbound.
(My mom went to her grave swearing it was done in Hollywood.)
The last thing that had captured my attention as much was the
JFK funeral procession.

My, my - how I miss Wirt! I'm sure he would have posted something to the List about the historic moon landing 40 years ago today.
Any comments from those of us who remember that day - where we were, how we saw the photos, etc?
