Due to a major fiber cut in Atlanta (beware of the backhoe) BBN Planet
and UUNet took a major hit (among others).  DNS has been sketchy all
afternoon.  We still have some traffic trickling through Sprint, but
I know raven and our other primary mail servers have backlogs and I've
had a few phone calls from the outside world about mail to UTC being
bounced due to DNS problems.

Apologies in advance to any of our readers that may have had delayed
or bounced mail, and my sympathies for the poor line technician down
in a hole somewhere in Atlanta doing a field fusion splice on who
knows how many pairs of fiber :-(
