Yesterday was Veterans Day (or Remembrance Day), not War Day. We remember
and honor Veterans who served during times of war and times of peace, for
their sacrifices made serving their countries, and especially for those who
gave the ultimate sacrifice. You don't need to glorify war, mythologize it,
engage in trivial sentimentalities or self-righteous justifications to honor
and thank those who served. I've never met any combat Veteran who exibited
any of those traits.
