This is part of the flap.  When pp2 is installed, *something* ought to change,
and that something would reasonably be the C.55.00.  However, HP has chosen not
to do this.  On their side of the issue, though, pp2 is mostly a collection of
patches, all of which are available on the net.  I, for one, try to keep my
system patched on an ongoing basis.  At what point should they consider my
system to have gotten changed enough to need a new number?
