I have read part of this book.  the problem I found with it was many of
the examples they pick are outdated and have long ago been fixed.  Unix
is more unscure than MPE for the larger reason that fewer people ever see
MPE than Unix.  Everyone knows Unix.  MPE...  What is that should be it's
nickname.  I like some things about MPE.  Still MPE could learn a lot
from UNIX.   I realy like the fact that MPE is slowly including more and
more of what makes a OS truly useful.
 
 
Don't worry. They will replace your MPE box and you soon enough.  Robert
